The game show battle is a nice way of quickly assessing students and adding a little bit of a competition into your lesson.

As part of the game, students need to be split into 2 teams. Each team will be shown a question and when it is their turn they must use their mini whiteboards to answer each question. A captain from each team will choose a different person each time to share what they think is the right answer. If the answer is "Correct", they earn points based on how difficult the question is. If they get it wrong, the other team have an opportunity of a "Steal" (they will earn the other team's points). If both teams are wrong, select "Wrong" on the question, it will be reset and the game will move onto the next team's question.

As part of the game there are 4 tools that students can use:

From left to right: double your points for the next 3 questions, protect yourself against any form of attack for the next 5 questions, steal all of your opponent's points, divide your opponent's points by 2 and finally call your teacher for support.

The winner is the team with the most number of points. Should you choose to do so, the points could be turned into reward points (such as house points) and shared amongst the group.
